We are back and survived (barely) another annual family camping trip. However, I think it will be mine and Emma's last, at least for several years. It has proven to be too much for her to handle and the oppositional constant not listening was not worth it. I would rather stay home and have fun with her where we are more likely to have good behavior success. So much for that. Anyway, we went to New Brighton State Beach this year and other than it being a bit cold it was a nice place. I am sure the best part for Emma was that she got to go to a little touch pool at a marine discovery center. We went to the beach of course and had traditional campfire treats. It is nice to be home with a happier little girl though for sure.
