With the chill in the air and the leaves starting to fall I finally have to admit that my summer is already over. Aside from the fact that I have been working the whole last month and a half and Emma has been in school we have continued to do summer type activities and I have tried to prolong the bliss for as long as possible. We had such a fabulous summer. July was packed with tons of activities every day. We went to pool, free movies, library programs, water slides, events, bowling, parks, adventure playground, roller skating. In fact most days we had at least 2-3 cool things to do. It was a blast. August was kind of a bummer because I had some stuff to take care of and we didn't get to do as much but hopefully next year will be different. We didn't get to go to some zoos, museums, art places, water parks, etc that we had planned to go to but it's ok next summer will come soon enough. Aside from being back at work I love the Fall! It is my favorite weather! There are so many fall activities that I don't know what to pick from. Pumpkin patches, Apple Hill, Disney on Ice, haunted train, trick or treat parties, and on and on. I LOVE this time of year! Nights are coming earlier and some people hate that but I think it is the best thing in the world. Time really is flying! Before we know it winter will be here and I can take Emma to try skiing and go whale watching! Wow life is so much fun! Oh and before you think all we do is have fun let me assure you that we are in a nice routine getting homework done and all the good daily/nightly necessities. Man there are a lot of those. Still is fun though.
